Petrol, Diesel prices for September Announced
The UAE fuel price committee has released the petrol and diesel prices for September 2024. Starting from September 1, Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dh2.90 per litre, down from Dh3.05 in August. Special 95 petrol will cost Dh2.78 per litre, reduced from the previous rate of Dh2.93. E-Plus 91 petrol will be available at Dh2.71 per litre, compared to Dh2.86 last month. Diesel will be priced at Dh2.78 per litre, a decrease from the current rate of Dh2.95.

The International Astronomical Centre in Abu Dhabi has announced the discovery of a new asteroid within the asteroid belt of our solar system by one of its team members. Khalfan bin Sultan Al Nuaimi, President of the Centre, revealed that the discovery was made through the analysis of images provided by a NASA-supported programme in collaboration with international partners, including Hardin-Simmons University in Texas, the Pan-STARRS telescope and the Catalina Sky Survey project.
