On September 12, the Emirates Health Services Establishment (EHS) UAE posted on their official social media account information about the school oral health initiative that will be aimed at 34,000 kids in the UAE's public schools between the ages of 5 and 15 years old.

After being suspended for two years because to the COVID-19 epidemic, EHS stated that the school oral health program will resume in October 2022–2023. The program will involve dental examinations for school pupils in accordance with WHO standards for the first time in the UAE and the region, in addition to the administration of fluoride as part of a preventive program in accordance with the most recent evidence-based recommendations.
