Eid Al Adha Date Revealed, Holiday Schedule Officially Announced

Saudi Arabia has officially declared today, Monday, as the start of Dhu Al-Hijjah, with Eid Al Adha falling on Wednesday, June 28.

According to a statement from the Saudi Supreme Court, carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Arafat Day will be observed on Tuesday, June 27, followed by the first day of Eid Al Adha on Wednesday, June 28.

In addition, the UAE’s  Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced a public paid holiday for the private sector from June 27 to June 30, coinciding with Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha. This decision is in accordance with the UAE Cabinet Resolution, which outlines the approved public holidays for both the public and private sectors.
