UAE's leading telecom company - Du , has achieved a significant milestone in its sustainability journey. In collaboration with the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), du has made remarkable progress by recycling over 14,000 kg of waste and planting 14 trees.
As part of the "For Our Emirates We Plant" initiative, du's dedicated warehouse team, in partnership with EEG, successfully recycled 13,040 kg of paper and 1,240 kg of plastic. These efforts have not only reduced waste output but have also made a tangible contribution to environmental preservation.
The Emirates Environmental Group has recognized du's outstanding commitment to sustainability by allowing the company to plant 14 trees. This initiative is a crucial component of the larger "One Root, One Communi-Tree Project."
du's achievement highlights its dedication to environmental responsibility and showcases the positive impact that collaboration and sustainable practices can have on the community.
