UAE's first analogue astronaut returns from 8-month isolation to meet his newborn baby girl

UAE's first analog astronaut Saleh Al Ameri is a few steps closer to the end of his eight-month-long isolation mission on July 3 and is more anticipating than ever to meet his newborn child.
Proving his success in training and tests, Al Ameri took on the mission led by Dubai-based Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) to study the effects of isolation and confinement on human psychology, physiology, and team dynamics to help prepare for long-duration space exploration.

The purpose of the Mission is to study what simulates an environment of going to space. Simulations of experiencing space is created to know what happens to the human body. The only difference is related to weightlessness and microgravity.
