Following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, Tuesday, 16 April, 2024 will be a remote working day for employees of all Dubai government entities due to weather conditions. This applies to all government employees in Dubai, except for roles that need on-site presence at the workplace.

His Highness also directed private schools to conduct remote learning due to weather conditions.
Dubai authorities confirmed their full preparedness to manage the impact of expected weather conditions. They also affirmed that they have taken all necessary pre-emptive measures to monitor and assess weather conditions and ensure public safety.
