(2:83) And recall when We made a covenant with the Children of Israel: “You shall serve none but Allah and do good to parents, kinsmen, orphans and the needy; you shall speak kindly to people, and establish Prayer and give Zakah (Purifying Alms).
There are so many things this verse talks about, but one of the simplest yet often forgotten one is the etiquette of speaking. Words are powerful and so let's try to use them for good things. If you find yourself in a state where you have nothing good to speak, you can always practice silence.
