‘Zayed The Inspired’ to mark birth anniversary of Baba Zayed

To commemorate the 100th birthday of the late president Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (1918-2018), The UAE Ministry of Interior has launched the 'Zayed The Inspirer (ZTI) platform. This is an inspiring platform that will showcase an international collection of motivational stories emphasizing appreciation, and habits and also encourage website visitors to remain happy and driven. New addition to Dubai Can

As stated by a senior official, 50 new drinking water stations would be set up around the emirate as part of the Dubai Can program by year's end. Presently there are around 40 water fountains that have been installed throughout the city at well-known locations and attractions as part of the Dubai Can initiative.

Global Village Season 27 announced

According to reports, Global Village will launch on October 25, 2022. 10,000 job opportunities for Indian workers

By next year, the Indian Consulate plans to utilize the Training for Emirates Jobs and Skills (TEJAS) program to hire at least 10,000 highly qualified individuals. The TEJAS Program was launched in March during the DubaiExpo 2020. The Indian Consulate, in partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) , seeks to develop a safe path for people who want to work overseas and avoid being taken in by bogus recruiters.

Petrol, diesel prices slashed by over 60 fils per litre

On July 31 The UAE fuel price committee announced petrol and diesel prices for the month of August 2022 Super 98 petrol will cost Dh4.03 per liter from August 1 compared to Dh4.63 in July, and Special 95 petrol will cost Dh3.92 per litre compared to Dh4.52 in July. The price of E-Plus 91 petrol will be Dh3.84 per liter, down from Dh4.44 per liter last month. Diesel will cost Dh4.14 per liter instead of Dh4.76 in July.

Free parking in Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Sharjah for Islamic New Year

Abu DhabiThe Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi has declared that public parking spots and toll costs would not be collected on Saturday, July 30 due to the Hijri New Year (1444H) holiday. Dubai & SharjahPublic parking will be free on Saturday, July 30, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai and the Sharjah Municipality. However, multi-story car parks in Dubai are exempt from this rule. The parking zones in Sharjah are also subject to fees every day of the week, including Fridays and official holidays.

ADNOC announces second gas discovery in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI-- Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced a second discovery of natural gas resources in the first exploration well in Abu Dhabi's Offshore Block 2 Exploration Concession, operated by Eni. The discovery from a new deeper reservoir indicates between 1 – 1.5 trillion standard cubic feet (TSCF) of raw gas in place. This significant find builds on the initial finding in February 2022 from a shallower target, taking the total amount of gas in place from this single well to 2.5 - 3.5 TSCF. A consortium, led by Eni and PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), was awarded the exploration rights for Offshore Block 2 in 2019 as part of ADNOC's debut......

Al Ain Zoo launches ‘Desert Wonders’

Al Ain Zoo has initiated a new Summer Camp under the theme ‘Desert Wonders’. The camp that runs from August 1, 2022 until August 12, 2022 will provide children with the opportunities to discover the wonders of the UAE’s desert and its heritage. They will also have the chance to learn about the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan's programs and his strategy for advancing the UAE's development.
