The year's biggest supermoon rises today

Due to its closeness to Earth, the supermoon of July, also known as the Buck Moon, appears large and bright in the sky.According to scientists, a supermoon will appear 14 percent bigger and 30 per cent brighter than a full moon at its farthest from the Earth.

30th July will be an official holiday in UAE

As the Islamic New Year falls on July 30, an official holiday has been declared.There are 3 more official holidays this year which would be on 8th October marking the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Commemoration Day and the UAE National Day.

Dubai to release 505 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai has authorized the release of 505 inmates from institutions for punishment and correction in Dubai. The inmates from various nationalities will be pardoned. .
