Honesty Honored by Dubai Police

The Dubai Police has honored a young student for her honest and responsible act. 11-year-old, Jannatul Afia Mohammed found a gold chain in the community where she lived & immediately notified her father, who handed it over to the Qusais Police station.The youngster’s responsible act was praised by Deputy Director of the Center Colonel Saeed Salem Al-Madhani who called on community members to follow her example. Dubai student awarded a Golden visa for inventing bus safety system

16-year-old Sabeel Basheer has created a bus safety surveillance system to make sure no child would be left behind having to suffocate in closed buses. After taking a few crash courses in computer programming during the pandemic lockdown, Sabeel's Smart Vigilant System was invented.Gaining mass public attention, Sabeel was awarded a UAE Golden Visa for his invention and efforts in using the technology to improve students' safety.

25 years of driving and not a single traffic fine

Despite driving for more than 25 years and covering over a million kilometres in that time, Dubai-based Zainudeen PB has never received a single traffic fine. “In the beginning, it was just three of us,” he said. “My brother, me and a driver. I would drive hundreds of kilometres every day to meet customers and convince them to buy from us. Those were the days of hustling.” He received his driver's licence in 1997 on his third try.
